FAMILY HEALTH COVER

Q. How do I enrol into the Scheme?
A. By simply completing an application form with your banking details and faxing or dropping off the form at any of our offices near you.

Q. Can I still be a member if I am unemployed and do not have a bank account?
A. We cover each and every person, whether employed or not, as long as they can pay the monthly subscription. If you do not have a bank account, there is an arrangement for you to pay directly at our offices or deposit money into any of our accounts which are in all banks.

Q. Is there an age limit?
A. We have no restrictions at all. Everyone has a right to good health, young or old.

Q. Can I pay for dependants who are not my biological children?
A. You are allowed to register whoever you want as your dependants, even if they are not your biological children.

Q. Can I pay for the three months in advance to avoid waiting period?
A. No. The waiting period is used to determine your commitment.

Q. Can I join another Medical Aid?
A. A member is free to join any other medical aid while they are with Itekanele.

STUDENT HEALTH COVER

Q. Can I put dependants as a student?
A. If you are covered as a student and wish to enrol dependants,you are only allowed dependants who are your biological children for P115.00 per month.

Q. If I complete my studies, can I still be a member?
A. You can still be a member after completion of studies. As long as you can now be able to pay monthly premium.

SPORT HEALTH COVERS

Q. Am I allowed to enrol dependants under this cover?
A. No. This cover is specifically for sports people and teams. Your dependants can be covered separately in a Family Health Cover.

Q. Is there an age limit?
A. There is no age limit. Everyone has the right to good health

Q. What happens in case of death?
A. In case of death, Itekanele together with Pule Funeral Services will make a pay-out to your family in a form of a funeral package or cash-payout.
