Itekanele Health Scheme started operations in November 2005 with the aim to provide high quality, yet affordable medical cover. Being a firm believer that Health and wellness are an elementary right that must be accessed by all people from all walks of life, Itekanele Health Scheme set their premiums relatively low, to afford all Batswana a chance to better life through medical assistance. Having started on a shoe-string budget, Itekanele Health Scheme beat all odds and exceeded expectations.

Today, we boast of 5 branches across the country and a Head Office in Gaborone. We have grown significantly through the years and pride ourselves on an efficient and reliable service and our very competitive premium.
